About Van Olson
Over 25 years of practical ESOP experience
Van Olson, the principal of the Firm, has over 25 years of large law firm experience as a lawyer and partner in one of the top ERISA and employee benefit practices in the country. In 2008, Van established this Firm to focus on ESOPs and serve the ESOP community.

Van is a long-time active member of The ESOP Association and the Administrative Advisory Committee of The ESOP Association, and collaborated on the writing of The ESOP Association Administration Handbook. Van also is an active member of the Indiana State Chapter of the ESOP Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership, and a long standing member and former President of the Indiana Benefits Conference. Van was born in Amityville, New York, graduated from Indiana University in 1974, with a B.S. in Finance, and received his J.D., magnum cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, in 1980.
